Amazing Gracie's BIG NIGHT!

I am just popping in for a sec to say hi. As you might have seen on Etsy, I am shipping all orders received by 12/12/09 no later than 12/19/09. That means that all I am doing is nothing but sewing, sewing, sewing....right?! WRONG! This also happens to be the week of Amazing Gracie's BIG dance recital! So, tonight at least, I won't be working the late shift sitting at my sewing machine like I am most nights. Tonight I will be at a local high school's performing arts center, watching my baby girl in her big debut!!!!


When I say "BIG", I mean....SUPER GINORMOUSLY HUGE! Well at least for a barely 3 year old;) I am sure to the seasoned pros that have been dancing with this school for years, this is just everyday stuff. She will dance along side of her 3 and 4 year old classmates, performing an original dance to "Mickey Mouse's Birthday Party".


Ok, so truth be told, I am stressing just a tad about this! I just can't help but think about all the "what ifs"....you know...what if she has to go to the bathroom, what if she forgets her routine and gets upset, what if she freaks out and just plain needs her mama????? Ahh...my list of stresses goes on and on....

Well, I hope to get some good pics to share with you all. Keep her in your thoughts tonight as she dances her little heart out;)

It's so haaaarrrrd to say goodbye....

Part of my Odds and Ends sale will include a few one of a kind creations. The dress pictured above, is one that I only had enough fabric for this one little dress:( :( Avary Grace does not need another stitch of clothing for probably about 2 years or so, but I am just having such issues letting this dress go!

Not to mention those cute little KNICKERS! They are a pale brown laundered denim so they are durable and oh so stylin! As I write this, I am undecided if they will make it to my Etsy shop! I cannot get anymore of this fabric either, and these little knickers are a welcome addition to any little fashionista's wardrobe!

The pic below has nothing at all to do with my Odds and Ends sale, but.... I took this today of my sweetie and I am looking at it and just thinking, "where has the time gone"? This image of her just hit me like a ton of bricks....my baby is not a baby anymore...waaaahhhhhhh:(

Anyways, sorry about not getting anything listed yesterday! I had a sick hubby at home, and just didn't find any time to list yesterday! But, check my shop this evening for some new Odds and Ends pieces!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I have been SOOOO busy the past few weeks, that I have been lucky to see daylight;) BUT, I didn't want this day to go by without telling you all how thankful I am for each and every one of you!

Whether you are a long time customer, a friend, family, or a blog reader, you are so important to the success of Amazing Gracie. I feel so blessed everyday to get up and be able to do something that I love so much. And without all of you, none of this would be possible!

The flannel is so super soft, and the ruffles on those pants....oh my gosh these just don't get any cuter!

CUTE and affordable!

Are you familiar with the brand Bear Feet Shoes? If you have a little girl, and have never heard of this brand, you are SO missing out!!! Well, these are Bear Feet's version of a ballet slipper. They call them 'Bearlerina Slippers'!

They retail for over $50, but if you go HERE and do it quickly, you might be able to snap up a pair for only $25!!! I did! Well, actually I got 2 pairs for Spring. I am thinking Easter already;)

I made the mistake of showing them to Avary Grace when they came in the mail (and by the way, they came sooo fast!). NOT a good idea! It took about 15 min to convince her that these are not appropriate Fall footwear. Anyways, go and get your budding ballerina a pair....I guarantee she will love them!

Pas De Deux Damask Collection
