Petit Ange

I just photographed, and listed, my newest design...Petit Ange. Petit Ange translates from French as, "Little Angel". What a fitting name for this angelic little dress! The bodice is cotton, and the bottom of the dress a light as air gauze. The three flowers are imported, and are really the "icing on the cake" so to speak!

I know I went WAY overboard on photographing this dress! It had been some time since I had a day of sunshine, so I went a little crazy with the pics!!!!! Hope you all love it...doesn't it make you want to book your Spring portrait sessions???

Cotton Candy II

I am so in love with the large blue floral print that I used in my original Cottage Rose wholesale collection that I HAD to use it again for Spring 2010. This time, I paired it with a super amazing pink toile cotton knit. This fabric is cotton candy pink, and so lovely! The fact that the pants are knit makes them soooo wearable! I can just imagine this lovely little top with a pair of dark skinny jeans or a sassy pear of leggings! This top is also so affordable, at $30 you can dress it up or dress it down. This fabric is getting to be very hard to find, so if you love this new Cotton Candy II Swing Top....zip on over to my Etsy shop and snag it before it is gone!
I have to give myself a big 'ole "YAY, ME!" for these photos! I finally got my Speedlite (flash) our, read the manual, and got some great pics even with the weather less than ideal. Thanks to my Gracie girl for modeling like it was 75 degrees when it was really only 50!
Blessings to you and yours!

Finally....

I finally will be adding some new pieces to my Etsy shop...tonight! I am soooo loving the outfit pictured above. I had to give you all a sneak peek! Ok, a sneak peek...or TWO.....

Yes, I know this second pic is not much of a sneak peek at all...except that you can see a snip-it of the adorable blue fabric with a bunny damask print!!! I have actually posted this photo so you can see my girl's new hairdo. I know it doesn't look "that bad". If you look closely, however, you will see that on the left side, that section of hair is all just about chin length. If I look at it long enough, I can almost picture how she would look with a bob;)

Blessings!

Amazing Gracie + Scissors= BAD...really bad!

This has absolutely nothing to do with clothes. I am just hoping for some comfort right now. I was finishing up a pair of pants a little bit ago for a photo shoot tomorrow, and realized that my sweet little Amazing Gracie was very quiet. So quiet that I thought she must have climbed in bed with her daddy.

Next thing I know she comes in with an ever so sweet smile. I noticed one little very short piece of hair hanging in her face that wasn't there before. She had somehow gotten her hands on some scissors. I started to ask her where she got scissors, while running my hand through her hair. It was then that I realized that she had not just cut one little piece....she gave herself a MULLET!

Thank goodness she had her hair in a loose ponytail so she was not able to cut it all off. I found the scissors in the living room, along with hand fulls of hair. I am so distraught right now. I know, I know, it is just hair and will grow back, but she has had this hair her entire 3 years of life. It was so long and pretty. I thought we were so beyond the cut-our-hair stage, but I guess not....sniff, sniff.

I will have pics for you tomorrow of the some new Spring styles, and the new Amazing Gracie 'd0.

Wishing you a very blessed evening,

Christa
